Twenty-two UAB researchers among the top 1000 in Spain

The ranking of researchers in Spain conducted by the Institute of Public Goods and Policies (IPP-CSIC) places the Google Scholar profiles of 22 UAB researchers among the top 1000.

The Ranking of Women Researchers in Spain includes the profiles of Spanish women researchers working both in Spain and abroad, as well as those of foreign women researchers affiliated with Spanish institutions. It includes the 9,990 profiles in Google Scholar with a valid ORCID identifier and an h-index equal to or greater than 14.

Among the top 1,000 positions are 22 UAB researchers: Charlotte Poschenrieder (in position 98), Roser Granero (141), Laia Solano (187), Isabelle Anguelovski (226), Susan M Webb (280), Eva Pellicer (288), Mariona Sodupe (304), Esther Vázquez (405), Lydia Giménez Llort (440), Patrizia Ziveri (464), Neus Barrantes (465), Berta González (567), Elena Galea (574), M. Isabel Pividori (610), Anna Sanpera (614), Belén Lloveras (618), Roser Pleixats (747), Raquel Barrena (795), Pilar Orero (885), Olga Francino (897), Ester Boix (899) and Maria Lourdes Abarca (984).

This ranking, compiled from data collected between 30 January and 1 February 2025 by the Cybermetrics Laboratory of the Institute of Public Goods and Policies of the CSIC (IPP-CSIC), aims to give visibility to women researchers using a free public access platform, Google Scholar, which has the advantage of offering much greater coverage than other bibliometric sources.
