On 19 and 20 April, the UAB Theatre will offer four performances of the play “Love and Information” by Caryl Churchill, written in 2012 and staged by members of the UAB Theatre's stable group.

The play, directed by Ricard Gázquez and translated into Catalan by Jordi Prat, presents fifty or so unconnected short scenes, played by a series of characters who form a constellation that multiplies into countless configurations. No actor ever plays the same role and no situation refers to a shared plot, beyond the common context of a technological and mercantile society where love and information are currencies of exchange.

“The different characters in this drama doubt each other, doubt themselves, question any form of dogmatism and, at the same time, the concept of identity is constantly dissolving and transforming. Hence its validity as a mirror of the voracity, anxiety and uncertainty that characterise today's globalised world”, Gázquez highlights.

The public will be able to enjoy free of charge, limited to the capacity of the theatre, a show in which fifteen actors, members of the UAB Theatre's stable group, seek to generate a dialogue and reflect on love and interpersonal relationships in the age of digital communication, where technology has transformed the forms of socialisation and coexistence.

The four performances are scheduled on 19 (at 2pm and 6pm) and 20 April (at 1pm and 6pm).  The show lasts 75 minutes.
