Collection of clothes for the Ecofira
A second-hand clothing market is being organized for the Ecofira to be held on March 18 at the UAB. Bring clothes that you will not wear to the FAS office (Plaça Cívica) before March 6.

Update 12/3: Postponed activity
On March 18, it will be organized at the UAB, the Ecofira, where different activities will take place. From the FAS, we will hold a solidarity market with second-hand clothes, the profits of which will go to an NGO. The aim will be to make the university community aware of the impact, both in the ecological and social field, of the waste of clothes due to the dynamics of fast-fashion. Clothes that would otherwise have ended up being wasted will be reused and given a new use. Most pieces can be purchased for symbolic prices of 1, 2 or 5 euros.
All people who want to collaborate with the cause can bring clothes to the FAS until March 6. Only clothes that meet the following criteria may be put up for sale: they cannot be dirty or stink; it cannot be broken or have silkscreen prints in poor condition; it cannot have messages or images that contradict the values and ethics of the FAS; and cannot be underwear or footwear.
The event will feature the volunteer group of the FAS environmental program and also inmates in prisons with an exit permit who will be in charge of selling the clothes.
