Xarxa Vives d'Universitats Medals of Honour ceremony

Salvador Alegret, retired professor of the Department of Chemistry at the UAB, will be honoured at the ceremony of the Xarxa Vives d'Universitats Medals of Honour, which will take place on 14 July at the Jaume I University in Castelló de la Plana. Carles Solà, retired professor of chemical engineering and former rector of the UAB, will deliver the laudatio of Professor Alegret. The Joan Lluís Vives prize for university publishing in Catalan and the Jesús Tuson prize for linguistic diversity will also be awarded, and the rector of the University of Girona, Quim Salvi, will pay tribute to Professor Carme Vinyoles.
