The workshop entitled “Prosocial Education for peace”, organised by the Applied Prosocial Research Laboratory (LIPA) at the UAB, will take place on Friday 24 November at 3 p.m. as part of the World Peace Forum being held on 23, 24 and 25 November in Barcelona.
The workshop will focus on explaining group experiences from around the world in a programme promoting a culture for peace through the use of prosocial behaviour. Participants will include Robert Roche, director and founder of LIPA; Marc Brundelius, LIPA researcher; Mayka Cirera and Pilar Escotorin, co-directors of LIPA and lecturers at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
The World Peace Forum is organised by the Schengen Peace Foundation and is an annual event held to find ways to reach world peace. This year's edition will include over 50 conferences, concerts, exhibitions and parallel activities, in which some 200 speakers will participate.
