Workshop on protection measures against gender violence

On 30 May, the UAB's Antigona Group organises an international workshop that forms part of a teaching innovation project on protection against gender violence entitled Les mesures de protecció contra la violència de gènere: construint una protecció multidisciplinar. The workshop will take place at the Aula Magna of the UAB Faculty of Law from 12 p.m. to 2:15  p.m.

The session will begin with a presentation by Encarna Bodelón, main researcher of the project. Following her speech, a debate will be moderated by Lucía Ortiz and will include the participation of Gemma Nicolàs, lawyer and consultant at “Elna Advocades”, and Ana Fábregas from the Area of Gender Violence of the association “Dones Amb Empremta”. The event will end with another debate, in this case moderated by Paula Arce. The participants will be Glòria Casas, lecturer in Sociology at the Université Toulouse II Jean Jaurès (France), Daniela Heim, lecturer of Law at the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (Argentina), and Lucía Ortiz, lawyer and lecturer of the UAB Faculty of Law. Several students taking part in the project will also participate in the debate.
