Ulla Neergaard, professor of European Union Law at the University of Copenhagen, will give a conference on 23 February on the relation of Greenland and the Faroe Islands with the EU, entitled “The unique legal story of autonomous territories, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, in the Danish Kingdom and their relationship with the EU”. The event is organised by the Institute for European Studies and includes the support of the offices of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Barcelona. The conference will take place at the Board Room of the UAB Faculty of Law at 10 a.m. and forms part of the inauguration of the new facilities of the European Documentation Centre (CDE) at the UAB Library of Social Sciences.
