Elifuraha Laltaika, researcher at the Tumaini University in Tanzania, will give a conference on the rights of indigenous peoples at the UAB Faculty of Law on 22 September entitled "The role of law and lawyers in defending rural peoples in Tanzania". Laltaika is an expert in this subject and was a senior officer at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland. His conference will take place at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law at 10:15 a.m.
