The origins of the Slav Epic in Ukrainian land

Starting on 14 March and ending on 30 May, the Faculty of Arts & Humanities will host the 26th Occitan Sessions at the UAB, organised by the Occitan Archive (Institute of Medieval Studies, UAB). The third session, on 30 March, will start at 11:30 a.m. with a conference entitled "Sobre los orígenes de una épica eslava en las tierras de Ucrania". The conference will be given by researcher Antonio Contreras, from the Institute of Medieval Studies, in Room 218.

Other conferences will be held on 25 April, and 2, 11, 18, 25 and 30 May. Film projections of Occitan films will also form part of these sessions, and will take place on 20 and 27 April at the Plaça Cívica.
