Sunrise and Sunset: 150 years of Japan-Spain relations

On Tuesday 14 November a new session will take place of the permanent seminar of the Modern History Research Group (GReHA) belonging to the Dictatorships and Democracies Study Group (CEDID) of the UAB. The conference is entitled "Sol ixent i Sol ponent: segle i mig de relacions hispano-japoneses" [Sunrise and Sunset: 150 years of Japan-Spain relations] and will take place at Aula 4 of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting.

Speeches will be given by Rubén Bartolomé, PhD in History and expert in the history of Japan, Japan-Spain relations and the Russo-Japanese War, in representation of the UAB, and by Florentino Rodao, historian and lecturer at the Complutense University Madrid. The activity will include the support of the PhD programme in Comparative, Political and Social History.
