Event details

From 14 to 16 June, the UAB will receive students who this year take their university entrance exams. Over 7,000 students will take the exams in one of the 50 halls the UAB has prepared, located in different parts of the campuses in Bellaterra, Sabadell, at the Gimbernat School of Sant Cugat del Vallès and at the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC) in Terrassa.

The exams will begin on 14 June at 9 a.m., with Spanish Language and Literature. Students, however, are invited to arrive at 8 a.m. to make sure all their personal data is correct before entering the exam hall. The location of the teaching centres and the best way to arrive can be consulted on the UAB's mobility and transport website. The results of the exams will be published on 29 June.

Two phases and scores up to 14 points

The exams are divided into two phases: the general phase, which is compulsory and includes a total of five exams; and a specific phase, which is voluntary and helps students gain extra points. In the general phase, students are examined in four common subjects (Catalan Language and Literature, Spanish Language and Literature, Foreign Language and History) and in a subject they choose which is related to their common subjects: Mathematics, Latin, Foundations of Art or Mathematics Applied to the Social Sciences.

In the specific phase, which can be taken by upper secondary school students and those from higher vocational training courses, students may choose up to 3 exams from 21 available subjects. After being weighted, the two top scores obtained in subjects related to their area of knowledge are calculated alongside the common subject exam scores and together they give the student's admission score, which can reach up to 14 points.
