Sociologist Agata Rejowska to speak on weddings and gender patterns

A conference entitled "Humanist wedding ceremonies and gender patterns: continuation and change" will take place in the Board Room (Sala de juntes) of the Faculty of Sociology. Agata Rejowska, PhD in Philosophy and researcher at Jagiellonian, a public university in Poland with headquarters in Krakow, will be in charge of conducting this ISOR seminar. Agata Rejowska has received the recognition of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion for her paper entitled "Humanist weddings in Poland: the various motivations of couples", in which she analyses the topic of her conference.

The ISOR (Research in Sociology of Religion) research group is based at the UAB and dedicated to the research, transfer and dissemination of knowledge in the field of sociology of religion, identity and collective memory. The activities offered by its members focus on the active and critical reflection on sociology of religion, its sociological perspective and research methodologies.
