Preview of the documentary "(Re)thinking sex education"

The documentary (Re)thinking sex education, produced by the AFIN Group and directed by the anthropology researcher Estrella Malagosa, is based on some of the results of her PhD thesis as well as the project SexAFIN project: sexualities and childhoods. It is produced by La Rectoria and received support from the Spanish Ministry for Equality, the Women's Institute, the Ministry for Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises, and the UAB.

This audiovisual production analyses the sexual education offered in educational centres in which the voices of children, from three primary schools, are the protagonists. The study included the participation of 3,090 children from seven Catalan schools aged three to eleven years old, their teachers and families.
