Presentation of the 12th edition of the report on communication in Catalonia

The presentation of the report on communication in Catalonia 2021-2022 will take place on 17 November at 12 noon, at the headquarters of the Association of Journalists of Catalonia. Framed within the observatory of Communication in Catalonia, this project is one of the works of the International Study Group on Communication and Culture, led by Amparo Huertas, director of the UAB Communication Institute.

The first part of the event will analyse cross-cutting issues, the second part will focus on each subsector (radio, television, print media, audiovisual sector, publishing, etc.), and the last part will focus on the challenges of the past two years; the role of public media, the contents aimed at young people and children, and finally, the informative treatment of climate change.

The editorial team of this study was formed by Bernat López, lecturer at the URV, Amparo Huertas and Lluiz Peres-Neto, lecturers at the UAB, and Sílvia Porta, in charge of coordination tasks. It received the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and was sponsored by Naturgy.
