The Doctoral School, together with the UAB Alumni, organises the 12th Awards Ceremony of PhD degrees and extraordinary doctoral prizes. An event in which the UAB will recognize the effort and dedication of young researchers and their contribution to the generation of knowledge. These awards, therefore, value the PhD theses that have stood out for their contribution and progress in different areas of the university.
The ceremony will be attended by Javier Lafuente, rector of the UAB; Asunción Malgosa, Vice Rector for Research; Montserrat López, president of the Academic Commission of the Social Council; Armand Sánchez, professor of the Department of Animal and Food Scienc; and finally, Anna Jornada, representing the PhD graduates receiving an extraordinary award. The UAB Choir will also be performing at the event.
