Due to the current ecological crisis, the conservation of our biodiversity is one of the greatest environmental challenges the world faces today. For example, Catalania is home to many endangered plant species, and this makes reintroducing and translocating endangered plants a viable solution to guarantee their survival.

That is why, on 20 October, a session will be held under the Annual Technology Transfer Plan (PATT), a leading tool used to transfer knowledge and training in the agri-food and forestry sectors of Catalonia. The PATT session, coordinated by Sandra Saura, researcher at the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology and Ecology of the UAB and at CREAF, aims to be a place in which to exchange knowledge and recommendations by experts from around the worls specialising in these renaturalisation actions.
