Learning in the university of today: renovation or revolution?

The 12th CIDUI Symposium, organised by the units specialising in the innovation of teaching and training of university lecturers from the eight public universities of Catalonia, with the support and coordination of the ACUP, will take place on 30 June from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Aula Magna of the UAB Faculty of Law. This year's symposium is entitled "Learning in the university of today: renovation or revolution?" and will bring together over 100 professionals, including governing staff, lecturers, students, and university administration and management staff, with the aim of debating on the current challenges faced by university teaching. Héctor Ruiz Martín, biologist and director of the International Science Teaching Foundation, will deliver a speech on teaching and learning based on scientific evidence at the initial plenary session, entitled "Ensenyament i aprenentatge informats per l'evidència científica". The final debate will include the participation of María Valdés, Vice Rector for Academic Innovation and Studies at the UAB.
