Laura Lechuga talks on photonic biosensors in commemmoration of the International Year of Light

The faculties of Science and Biosciences are celebrating the International Year of Light with a conference entitled "Arrojando LUZ al diagnóstico clínico: biosensores fotónicos como herramientas avanzadas" by Laura Lechuga Gómez, research lecturer at the CSIC and director of the Group of Nanobiosensors and Bioanalytic Applications at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2).

Laura Lechuga has a brilliant trajectory as a researcher with over 19 awards and distinctions throughout her career. Among the awards she has received is the National Research Award 2020 in Technology Transfer, the first woman to receive this award. She was also awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Cadiz.
