Joan Rieradevall and Carles Gasol to talk on circular economy

The authors of the book Economía circular. El camino hacia la sostenibilidad (UAB Publications Service), Joan Rieradevall and Carles Gasol, will be offering a conference on the main concepts of circular economy on 1 October at 6:00 p.m. at the Espai Mirador of the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona. Gasol and Rieradevall, both lecturers in the Department of Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering at the UAB, will compare their book presenting circular economics as a decisive strategy in sustainable development with some of the objects found in the museum's permanent exhibition of "Matter Matters. Dissenyar amb el món". The activity is free and open to the general public; to enter the Hub, attendants will need to register at the reception hall at 5:30 p.m. After the conference, all attendants will be able to visit the museum's exhibition free of charge.
