Human Rights at Local Levels: modern foundations and tendencies

The Centre of Dictatorships and Democracies Studies (CEDID-UAB), alongide the Universidade Federal do ABC (Brazil), has organised an international postgraduate session on human rights entitled " Drets humans a nivell local: fonaments i tendències contemporànies" to be held on 17 and 18 January.

The session will take place at the conference hall of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities and will consist in four different debates. The first and second, entitled "Sobre la història i el futur d'un ideal" "and Polítiques de memòria, reparació i drets humans. Aproximacions comparatives", will take place on 17 January. On 18 January, the third debate will be held, entitled "Ciutats de drets humans: experiències i debats contemporanis". In the afternoon, the session will end with a conclusions, exchanges and cooperations meeting.
