EINA, the Barcelona University Centre of Design and Art affiliated to the UAB, is organising the exhibition "Ensenyar és aprendre" [Teaching is Learning], a tribute to Albert Ràfols Casamada and Maria Girona, which can be visited until 9 June at EINA's headquarters in Can Sentmenat (Barcelona). On 27 May at 11 a.m., there will be a free guided tour with Xavier Olivé, one of the curators of the exhibition (together with Josep Aregall and Rubén Alcaraz), which will also include a guided tour of the art collection with Miquel Molins, a life drawing class coordinated by Mar Saiz and the presentation of the "Amic d'EINA" award to Professor Francesc Artigau.

The exhibition focuses on the pedagogical contribution of Ràfols and Girona to EINA between 1967 and 2009, based on the teaching of design, art and humanities, and brings together works from the art collection of the EINA Foundation as well as extensive archival material related to the artists. This initiative is part of a series of activities organised by the EINA Foundation, the Bassat Foundation and the Vila Casas Foundation to commemorate the centenary of the artists' births.
