This is the story of a man who works in a metal factory. One working day, he suffers a nervous breakdown due to the stress of his job and goes mad, causing chaos in the company. He is fired and sent to a mental hospital. Once recovered, he returns to the street to find that the factory where he worked is closed. Moments later, by chance, he participates in a demonstration and he is arrested and accused of being the leader of this protest. When he is released from prison, he finds life difficult to cope with and becomes a survivor in modern times with the company of a young orphan girl he meets in the street.

"The Immortals" cinema series, organised by lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising Ludovico Longhi, aims to pay tribute to some of the films considered to be cinema classics. The legacy of these audiovisual works has transcended several generations and fashions, achieving an admirable cultural and artistic recognition, as well as eternal fame and glory.
