Fighting disinformation on migrant issues discussed in a seminar

Professionals, researchers and students from Catalonia, Mali and Tunisia participate in on online international seminar to debate initiatives which seek to strengthen teaching and research innovation against disinformation related to migrant people.

The event is organised by the Laboratory of Prospective and Research in Communication, Culture and Cooperation (LAPREC), in collaboration with the bachelor's degree subject “Communication, Development and Cooperation”, and the Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS).

The Laboratory of Prospective and Research in Communication, Culture and Cooperation (LAPREC), a consolidated group of the Department of Journalism and Communication Studies at the UAB, organises a webinar "Communication, Migration and Social Change: cooperation against disinformation".

There will be simultaneous interpreting from French to Spanish.

The webinar and cooperation project which the activity forms part of includes the support of the UAB Solidarity Fund and the Fundació Autònoma Solidària.
