Fàtima Bosch to give a conference in celebration of Saint Albert's Day

The faculties of Science and Biosciences will be celebrating the feast day of Saint Albert, patron saint of both faculties, on 6 November with an institutional event. The celebration will include a conference by Fàtima Bosch, professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and director of the Centre for Animal Biotechnology and Gene Therapy at the UAB. Her conference on gene therapy and rare diseases, entitled "Teràpia gènica: una nova eina per al tractament de malalties minoritàries i d'alta prevalença" will then be followed by the reading of the faculties' cursus honorum.

Attending the celebration will be UAB Rector Javier Lafuente; Faculty of Biosciences Deab Isidre Gibert; and Faculty of Science Dean Juan Jesús Donaire.
