Expert translators to speak at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting

On Wednesday 11 January, several expert translators will meet at Aula 4 of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting in a session which will include the participation and debates with those attending. The programme is as follows:

2:00 p.m. – Welcome speech

2:30 p.m. – Gabriel López Guix (National Translation Prize 2022) (into Spanish)

3:15 p.m. – Simona Skrabec (10th Ramon Llull Litereary Translation Prize) (into Catalan)

4:00 p.m. – Coffee break

4:30 p.m. – Joaquín Fernández-Valdés (Esther Benítez Translation Prize 2022 for her translation of War and Peace) (into Spanish)

5:15 p.m. – Valèria Gaillard (Translator of the 2022 Nobel Laureate Annie Ernaux) (into Catalan)

6:00 p.m. – Q&A session and debate

7:00 p.m. – Closing speech
