ExpermientAI- Artificial intelligence can benefit the environment

The second edition of ExperimentAI, a citizen science project by the Computer Vision Centre (CVC) to experiment with artificial intelligence in public libraries, includes eight dissemination workshops aimed at the public in general which take place from May to September.

The seventh session, focusing on the environment, is entitled “Intel·ligència artificial en benefici del medi ambient” and will allow attendants to discover the different innovative proposals in artificial intelligence which can help create a more sustainable world. Attendants will be given a demonstration of a smart recycling system, the bases for analysis of multispectral images will be explored and other AI applications such as water management and the monitoring of fauna will be discovered. The themes of this 7th session will be sustainable industry and the environment. Those interested in attending the session must sign up here.

The project is launched by the CVC with the support of the Spanish Science and Technology Foundation (FECYT) and the Spanish government. It also includes the collaboration of the Barcelona Libraries Consortium and the Municipal Libraries Network of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
