The seminar will be offered by Xavier Barcons, General Director of the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO). It will serve to present the telescopes that make up the observatory and the most important discoveries made in the past 60 years since the facilities were created, as well as the future plans for this enormous scientific structure. The seminar will be offered on-site and also online on the ZOOM platform.
