Documentary Theatre "A la Deriva" by Marta Montiel and Elies Barberà

A la Deriva is based on interviews with individuals and relatives of people who have experienced psychiatric hospitalization over the past decades in various parts of our territory (Lleida, Girona, Barcelona, Terrassa, and Menorca). The testimonies reveal how this radical experience has impacted their lives. The play reflects how the concept of psychiatric admission has evolved, how treatments have changed, and how different this experience is for each person who goes through it.
