Corto Maltès: dialogues from sociology and political science

Art critic Paco Linares, cultural manager and member of the Cong Hugo Pratt Art Properties Society, will offer a conference entitled "Corto Maltès (1887-1936) and Hugo Pratt (1927-1995): Itineraris biogràfics ficticis a través de la primera globalització" on 19 May at 11 a.m. at the Aula 10 of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, in an event organised by the Minor in Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship. It will be followed by a debate with lecturers of the faculty Pilar Carrasquer, Alejandro Godino, Francesc Serra and Pep Espluga, who will speak on the gender, social, eco-social and post-colonial dimensions of the character and the graphic novels created by Hugo Pratt.
