Conference on Republican journalistic exile in Cuba

Jorge Domingo, writer and literary researcher at the Institute of Literature and Linguistics "José Antonio Portuondo Valdor" in Havana, Cuba, will give a lecture on Republican journalistic exile, organised by the Department of Media, Communication and Culture of the UAB, on 1 December in Aula 1 of the Faculty of Communication Studies.

Domingo, an expert in the cultural trajectory of Spanish writers exiled in Cuba during the Spanish Civil War, will speak on the presence of exiled Republican journalists in the island's media. Other speakers will include Jaime Claramunt, director of the newspaper El Diluvio de Barcelona and collaborator in the radio of the Ministry for Culture CMZ, Paco Madrid, correspondent of the newspapers El Heraldo de Madrid and El Liberal, and Esteben Salazar and Eduardo Zamacois.
