Conference on Linya, a woman living in La Noguera 14,000 years ago

Linya, a homo sapiens existing 14,000 years ago, is the star of one of the collectables featured in the series of women in history entitled "En femení. La història a través de les nostres dones", created by the Museu de La Noguera. The series is dedicated to the women who made history, but have been forgotten for the mere sake of being women. Linya was discovered a few years ago by the same researchers who now present her, lecturers from the Department of Prehistory Rafael Mora Torcal, Jorge Martínez Moreno and Javier Sánchez Martínez.

The presentation will take place at the Museu de la Noguera on 6 March at 7:00 p.m. The event will also be streamed live on the museum's YouTube channel.
