Colloquium on involuntary part-time work done by women

The Centre for Demographic Studies (CED) organises a colloquium on involuntary part-time work conducted by women in six European countries and their relation with economic security in the household. The event will be presented by Lara Maestripieri, researcher in the Department of Sociology and Public Law at the UAB. The latest paper published by Maestripieri investigates to what point the fact that women work part-time without wanting to makes it difficult for their households to reach reasonable living standards, and examines whether this condition would change if they were voluntarily working part-time.
