Chinese community in Catalonia to speak of hate speech during the pandemic

The AmicsUAB association will be holding an online tallk on YouTube on the Chinese community in Catalonia and hate speech during the pandemic. The event will take place on 13 June at 4 p.m. 

The talk will be moderated by Amparo Huertas, director of InCom-UAB, and speakers will include Luiz Peres, member of the research staff at InCom-UAB; Zhou Minkang, local director of the Confucius Institute Foundation in Barcelona and lecturer at the UAB; and Joaquín Antolín, lecturer of the Departmet of Translation and Interpreting & East Asian Studies and main researcher of the CERAO-UAB's InterAsia research group.
