Ceremony for the awarding of PhD degrees and extraordinary prizes

On Friday 19 May at 6 p.m. the awards ceremony for PhD degrees and extraordinary prizes will take place at the UAB's Hotel Campus.

UAB Rector Javier Lafuente will be in charge of inaugurating the event, alongside UAB Vice Rector for Research Assumpció Malgosa and member of the UAB Social Council Tirso Garcia.

In addition, Roser Nadal, professor in the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology in Health Sciences, and researcher of the Institute of Neuroscience will offere a conference on social responsibility and research into mental health entitled “Salut Mental: De la recerca a la responsabilitat social”.

Following, the PhD degrees will be awarded, as well as the extraordinary prizes, and Mariona Massip, who will receive an extraordinary programme in Education, will speak in representation of the new PhD graduates.

 The event will also include a performance by the UAB Choir.
