31st Science Week

From 6 to 15 November, the Catalan Research and Innovation Foundation organises the 31st edition of the Science Week, a series of free science outreach activities across Catalonia—including open days, virtual events, exhibitions, scientific workshops, and other formats—aimed at the general public, with the primary goal of bringing science and technology closer to citizens and fostering an interest in scientific careers among young people.

Some of these activities are organised by UAB research groups and researchers, or will take place on the university campus; examples include a talk on space and the use of thermoelectrics—co-organised by the UAB spin-off AEinnova—and genetics-themed games organised by the Faculty of Biosciences and the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine (IBB-UAB).
