Third International Conference on Education and Gender: Feminist Weaves in Education

On 29 and 30 October, the Feminist Weaves in Education conference will take place at the Faculty of Education, organised by the UAB’s Education and Gender Group. It will bring together more than 170 researchers, university lecturers, school teachers, educators, and activists from various countries, all of whom are directly or indirectly involved in formal and non-formal education.

They will share scientific research, paedagogical experiences and socio-educational proposals aimed at promoting an education for equality that is fairer, more inclusive and transformative. The congress also aims to focus on the multiple inequalities and violations of the rights of children and adolescents that, in different contexts around the world, affect their well-being, opportunities and development. The Association for Sexual and Reproductive Rights and CATESCO have joined the conference's organisation.
