  • End: 06 May 2026 21:00
  • Campus UAB Sabadell (Carrer Emprius 2)

The UAB Sabadell Campus is hosting the first edition of Fly & Grow Sabadell, an initiative promoted by students of the Degree in Aeronautical Management of the UAB School of Engineering which aims to bring university talent closer to the real needs of the aeronautical sector.

The event will bring together nearly 100 students and eight leading entities in the aeronautical industry, in a day designed to promote direct contact between young talent and companies, provide students with knowledge of career opportunities in the sector, and raise awareness of the needs of aeronautical companies.

Participating organisations include air and airport navigation managers ENAIRE and AENA, airline Volotea, as well as specialised training centres such as Barcelona Flight School, Hangar 10 and ITAÉREA. The event will also feature the participation of the IVAO flight simulation network and the AEAE student association.

Fly & Grow Sabadell is inspired in the experience of hte technological fair MEMEnginy. Based on this reference, the meeting adapts the model to a smaller and more specialised scale, focused specifically on the aeronautical sector as a strategic and, often, unknown branch of engineering.

The event will combine different formats and activities:

  • Stands and information sessions, where companies will present their selection processes, most needed profiles and career opportunities.
  • Round table with UAB alumni, in which five former UAB students currently working in the sector will share their professional experiences and answer questions.
  • Flight and air traffic control (ATC) simulator, which will give attendants a hands-on experience of how the aeronautical sector works.

The meeting will be completed with a networking space designed to promote direct contact between students and company representatives in a close and informal environment, facilitating the generation of synergies and future job opportunities.
