Partners, allies and adversaries: the EU in the new geography of global power

The European Documentation Centre at the UAB will host the presentation of the book Las relaciones internacionales de la Unión Europea (Tecnos) on 3 March from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in an event that will close the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the research career of the European Foreign Policy Observatory, a UAB-centre founded jointly with the Barcelona Institute for International Studies. The book, edited by Esther Barbé, professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the UAB, and Eduard Soler, professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the UAB, brings together contributions from researchers at the UAB and its European Foreign Policy Observatory, as well as from various European universities and international think tanks. The work analyses the evolution of the EU as a global actor in a transforming international context.

The session, entitled "Partners, Allies and Adversaries: the EU in the New Geography of Global Power", will feature authors Esther Barbé and Eduard Soler; Diego Badell, professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the UAB; Patricia García, professor of International Economic Organisation at the University of Barcelona; and Juan Pablo Soriano, professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the UAB.
