The Department of Prehistory of the UAB, through its CEPAP research team, is organising during the month of February the first free face-to-face training courses in SUGAR (Unified Software for Archaeological Management), a tool the team developed for the integrated management of archaeological data generated during fieldwork and research.
The courses are aimed at students, researchers and heritage professionals, as well as museums, companies and public administrations.
Three training sessions will be offered:
- 10 February: addressed to all UAB community members.
- 17 February: addressed to non-UAB students and researchers.
- 25 February, addressed to members of the public administration, museums, and archaeology and heritage companies.
A complementary SUGAR course is also offered online as a MOOC course on the Coursera platform, for those interested in learning how to use SUGAR at their own pace.
