Closing ceremony of the Micromón programme

Closing of the eighth edition of this innovative programme that aims to encourage secondary school students (ages 15-17) to pursue a career in science and technology by addressing one of the most important challenges to human health for this century: global microbial antibiotic resistance.

4:00 p.m. Opening speech by UAB Rector Javier Lafuente.

4:05 p.m. Speech by the dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, Isidre Gibert.

4:10 p.m. Speech by MicroTA representatives.

4:15 p.m. Speeches by students from secondary schools.

4:45 p.m. Open interventions.

4:55 p.m. Speech by the director of the Institute of Educational Studies of the UAB, Edelmira Rosa Badillo.

5:00 p.m. Presentation of certificates to the participating centres.

5:10 p.m. End of event.
