UAB and Cerdanyola City Council Literary Awards ceremony

The awards ceremony for this year's literary prizes will take place on 28 May at 4 p.m., in the conference hall (Sala d'actes) of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. The awards are organised by the UAB and the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès. Last February was the deadline for the submission of original works, of which 25 are eligible for the 15th "Caterina Albert" Short Narrative Prize for Young People, 85 for the 29th "Miquel Martí i Pol" Poetry Prize and 82 for the 30th "Valldaura-Memorial Pere Calders" Novel Prize.

Participating in the awards ceremony will be Javier Lafuente, rector of the UAB; Carlos Cordón, mayor of Cerdanyola del Vallés; Rosa María Sebastián, vice-rector of Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship of the UAB; Margarita Freixas, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities; and David González, councillor of Culture, Communication and EMD of Bellaterra at the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès.
