On 2,3, and 4 April Barcelona will be hosting the 12th CyTA-CESIA National Congress coorganised by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. The event will bring together professionals from the fields of science, technology and food engineering to talk about issues related to food and health, the harmlessness of food, technological advances in food processing, food sustainability, digital transformation and communication and dissemination in the field of food science and technology.

The event will begin on 2 April at 5:00 p.m. at the historical building of the University of Barcelona, the Paranymf Hall. Speakers will include UB and UAB rectors and the general director of Empreses Agroalimentàries, Qualitat i Gastronomia, Joan Gòdia. The 4th CyTA Junior Congress will also be held on the same day, 2 April, in which undergraduate and graduate students will have the chance to present their research projects.
