Event details

On Tuesday 21 March a new session of the permanent seminar offered by the Research Group in Current History (GReHA-CEDID) will be held, under the title of “Placing the Ukranian Conflict in Contemporary History. A historiographic debate”.

The seminar will be given by Carlos Sanz, lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid and at its School of Diplomacy, as well as author of the book La guerra fría, una historia inacabada (Ed. Síntesi 2021), and by Francisco Veiga, researcher at the GReHA-CEDID-UAB and author of Ucrania 22. La guerra programada (Alianza Editorial, 2022). Both speakers will try to situate the war in the Ukraine within the coordinates of contemporary history.

The session will take place at the conference hall (Sala d'actes) of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and will also be streamed live. The link to the session can be obtained via email, by writing to cedid@uab.cat or on CEDID's social media channels.
