Exhibition " Best Final Degree Projects with a gender perspective from the UAB" at the Science and Technology Library
Library is exhibiting the only two final degree projects from the 2023-2024 academic year with a gender perspective that received the award and are scientific in nature, both belonging to the Faculty of Sciences. They highlight university research from a critical and inclusive viewpoint.
In April 2025, the 30 best final degree projects with a gender perspective from the 2023-2024 academic year at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) were announced. This recognition is awarded annually by the UAB's Equality and Diversity Service to promote the integration of a gender perspective into academic analysis and knowledge production.
In this ninth edition, only two students from the science or technology fields received awards:
- Maria Cobo Ollero, from the Applied Statistics degree program
- Aida Zaforas Bragulat, from the Chemistry degree program
The Science and Technology Library is showcasing its research until December 19th, highlighting the motivations behind each author's work on the role of women in science.
We hope these works will serve as a reference point and inspiration for students in the Science, Biosciences, and Engineering programs who are already working on their final degree projects.
Don't miss it!
