Results of the 2025 satisfaction survey
Participation increases and ratings improve in the satisfaction survey of UAB Library users.

During April and May 2025, the UAB Library Service conducted its triennial general satisfaction survey of the entire university community.
Firstly, we would like to thank the 1,845 people who responded, 28% more than in the previous survey, conducted in 2022. Your contributions allow us to better understand the needs and expectations of the different groups, students, teaching and research staff, and administrative and technical staff, and to continue improving the services we offer.
The results show a general improvement over the previous edition. Particularly noteworthy are the scores for staff assessment (8.9 out of 10) and the overall assessment of the libraries (8.6), the highest obtained to date.
Ratings for collections (both print and digital), spaces and furniture, and services such as lending, information, training, and teaching and research support also exceeded 8 points.
Despite these positive results, the survey also highlighted areas for improvement, particularly in terms of facilities: Wi-Fi connectivity, temperature, and soundproofing in group study rooms. There is also a certain lack of awareness of some services, especially among undergraduate students, which highlights the importance of continuing to work on disseminating and communicating the services available.
