The UAB Faculty of Law hosts a meeting with major law firms
On Wednesday, 21 October, the Faculty of Law of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona hosted a meeting with representatives of five prestigious firms in the legal and professional sector: Garrigues, Uría Menéndez, Pérez-Llorca, Cuatrecasas and Deloitte.
The activity, organised by the Coordination of the Bachelor’s Degree in Law, was aimed at students in the final years of the Bachelor’s Degree in Law and the double degree programmes, with the goal of bringing them closer to the professional reality of large law firms and giving them the opportunity to learn first-hand about the different career paths the sector offers.
The meeting was very interesting and enriching, and it provided a space for direct dialogue between students and the representatives of the different firms, for sharing experiences, and for reflecting on the opportunities and challenges of starting a professional career in the legal field.
The Faculty of Law would like to sincerely thank all the firms and professionals who attended for their participation and availability, as well as the students who took part in the session for their interest.
We will continue to promote activities that strengthen the ties between the university and the professional world and that contribute to the guidance and future careers of our students.
