A group of students from the Master’s Degree in European Integration at the Autonomous University of Barcelona took part last week in Timișoara (Romania) in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), an initiative promoted under the Erasmus+ programme that brings together students and faculty from various European universities.

The activity focused on analysing the main challenges related to sustainability, environmental protection, and climate change—issues that occupy a central place in the political and legislative agenda of the European Union.

During the programme, students participated in seminars, debates, and collaborative activities with participants from different European countries, allowing them to exchange perspectives, work in international teams, and deepen their understanding of the European dimension of contemporary environmental challenges.

Participation in this type of programme is part of the Master’s in European Integration’s commitment to international and interdisciplinary training, complementing academic content with practical experiences that promote mobility, academic cooperation, and the development of transversal skills.

From the Faculty of Law, we highly value these initiatives, which allow our students to live and work alongside students from other European universities, fostering intercultural dialogue and the building of a true European academic community.
