Four Bachelor’s Theses from the Faculty of Law recognized at the Arcadi Oliveres Awards for Global Justice

The Faculty of Law at the UAB celebrates the recognition of four Bachelor’s Theses at the 9th Arcadi Oliveres Awards for Global Justice, which highlight academic research focused on social impact and global transformation.

The awarded works are:

  • Genocide before justice: comparative case law on universal jurisdiction in France and Spain, by Victoria Muñoz Moya (Degree in Political Science and Public Management + Law)
  • “Youth-led litigations”: youth for the future of the environment, by Ainhoa Morales Muñoz (Degree in Criminology)
  • The influence of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, by Eva Cheyrie Casado (Degree in French and Spanish Law)
  • Environmental Treaty Supralegality in Brazil, by Camila Pont de la Torre (Degree in Law and International Relations)

These works stand out for their academic quality and for their contribution to the analysis of global issues such as human rights, the environment, and international law.

The award ceremony will take place on April 28 at Cinema UAB, within the framework of the event Talent with Social Impact, organized by the Fundació Autònoma Solidària and the Service-Learning Office.

This recognition reaffirms the Faculty of Law’s commitment to critical, rigorous education oriented towards global justice.
