Legal implications of artificial intelligence in the workplace
The Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, within the Master's Degree in AI and Digital Law, organized on April 9 a new session of the Café#IA program, focused on the legal implications of artificial intelligence in the workplace.
The session, delivered by Dr. Szilvia Váradi (University of Szeged), analyzed the use of AI systems for automated decision-making in the workplace, with particular attention to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Key issues such as transparency, accountability, and the protection of workers’ rights were addressed.
