UAB Civil Law Faculty Serve on the Jury of the ELSA and Cuatrecasas Moot Court
Six lecturers from the Civil Law Area of the Faculty of Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona took part as members of the judging panel in the Moot Court organised by ELSA (European Law Students’ Association) collaborating with the law firm Cuatrecasas.
The competition is aimed at law students and it consists on the resolution and oral defence of a practical case before a panel made up of legal professionals and academics. The purpose of this competition is to help students develop key skills related to legal practice, including argumentation, legal advocacy, and the analysis of complex cases.
The judging panel included Glòria Ortega, Guillem Izquierdo, Ricardo de la Rosa, Maria Isabel García, Mariona Torra, and Santi Robert, all members of the Civil Law Area representing the Faculty of Law of the UAB.
The participation of Faculty staff in initiatives such as this reinforces UAB’s commitment to knowledge transfer and the practical training of future generations of legal professionals.
